Today Emma did such a selfless, giving thing. She made a donation that she's been working on for more than 2 years! She donated her beautiful hair to Locks of Love. Their mission statement is to "return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children". Emma hopes she donated enough hair to make prosthetics for 2 children!

Cris' birthday
Wow - what a crazy birthday Cris had. Not only was it busy this year, but also a little stressful. On the 19th of May he and Em also tested for their Junior Black Belts. Thankfully, they both passed! Wow, only 8 more months until Black Belts!
Emma's birthday on Lake Wawaka!
Over Em's birthday weekend we went kayacking on Lake Wawaka at Susan's Pleasant Pheasant Farm. All went well until Granddad tried to get out of the kayack! Oops! He shook it off and played along like a good sport.
