Here's my thinking - we SKYPED twice and I figured you got what you needed. Here's the deal though - I DON'T WANT TO GIVE HIM BACK. DO I HAVE ANY ANY ANY SHOT AT KEEPING HIM???? Now, you may think I'm joking, but trust me, I'm DEAD serious!!! Let us have him, pleeeaaassee!!!!!Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-31031568751021493652009-08-27T07:00:00.000-07:002009-08-27T07:02:49.860-07:00The Jack Chronicles<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 300px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaYISggGy6wy19MPqWxdWcLNfyFvGQblOqfdl3PAyKq__Ik0xALlmQwvM9Dr6f3dB3cRUoQ3MQ_19JIC9MZ8u-PrDETVyh1KYZU-xcMjoVzoEZCIZkZ5G0XuLBTKu1qWka9Qyou1WDg0Y/s400/photo-8.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374643675209245538" />
Okay, so my good friend Patti bought me these flip flops before she moved to South Bend a few weeks ago & I just got them from Tish last night. Here's the deal though. Every time Jack walks past me, he makes me take them off so he can put them on. They actually look pretty good on him, but I think they might be a tad too big.

We are off to Heidi's house to go swimming and have lunch. Then back home for a nap around 1:30. Hope to talk to you guys later. xoxoxo

ps - can ANYONE tell me why the boy was up at 6:30 this morning???? We came home and had lunch and then off for a nice long nap. Bike ride and a bit of soccer with Cris, then playing with Thomas and the tracks for quite a bit. Pasta with bolognese sauce and a little apple sauce for dessert - did I mention that your boy LOVES ciabatta bread? Bath by Emmie & Cris and then off to bed. Lots going on today. My hope - more cuddle time tomorrow morning - WHAT ELSE COULD I ASK FOR??? We are going to Heidi's house for swimming and lunch tomorrow and then Irma & Cris are dying to see a little Jack. Oma, Granddad, Irma & Cris over for a nice family dinner tomorrow night! Looking forward to more family time.

Gen, Warner - You guys might think I'm joking, but if you don't see me immediately on Sunday at the airport don't be surprised. I'm fairly certain I can pass him off as my own. I'm sure our DNA will be a close enough match! I really don't think I want to give him back. Is that wrong?Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-66016386766005591332009-08-26T07:44:00.000-07:002009-08-26T07:47:19.579-07:00The Jack ChroniclesMy wish came true and I got another 45 minutes of cuddle time this morning in bed. This is one of the things I miss most about Cris & Em being tiny. He is such a mush!

So, after a showdown of wills (I'm pretty sure I won), I finally got Jack to say "sorry" after I witnessed him biting Em. He's an animal!

We are headed to the pool now for a couple of hours, then home for lunch and a nap. Nothing much planned today, just chillin!

Tried to Skype Pink & Gen a few times today, to no avail. Guess you guys are having fun!
xoxoxoHeidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-19638134295238472792009-08-25T16:48:00.000-07:002009-08-25T16:54:25.984-07:00The Jack ChroniclesMAN, OH, MAN, THE BOY'S POOP SMELLS. Love this boy, but he needs to be out of diapers immediately!!! Enough said!

So, today started out totally sweet. Got to curl up in bed with Typhoid Jack and cuddled for like a 1/2 hour. The boy is so lovey!!!

Anyway - out early this morning for a play date with Greg Fritz's daughter Zoe at Wooddale park. Lots of fun. On to the office to pick up pay check & visit Granddad (and a quick diaper change!). Then on to see Oma, do some exchanges at the Gap for the grandchildren. Guess who went shopping??? And on to lunch at Bensi. Afterwards, back home. Oma stayed at Chez Baguer while Jack napped and the we went to the pool. Quiet dinner, Bags @ a meeting for the St. Therese Wine Tasting and Aunt T is catching up on her guilty pleasure of Days of Our Lives. Just keeping my fingers crossed for some more cuddle time tomorrow.

Meeting tomorrow is cancelled so nothing but the pool on the schedule. Hoping to be there around 10 and catch some rays and waves!!! Miss & love you all. Seriously - not giving him back. Make sure you have a good lawyer - and you can't use Danny!!!

BEST LOVE OF THE DAY- Cuddles in bed this morning!

No more tops because nothing could top the above!!!!!!Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-80968290976940423712009-08-25T14:27:00.000-07:002009-08-25T14:32:53.191-07:00The Jack Chronicles<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 235px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLkWpkmGf2Dg2WzZUbFr7C4LYVO7zqehQEvnZUIH5X80BxHdwb43UeUdcCzw6xK_oEx0XaOo-2YzbebL_AS-aOQFjgsNS5JFsH8WO-d6xaaRl5JEITU5pftk9tBPd3Gp-Qt6jiHBw0bN0/s320/photo-5.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5374016895930833234" />
Day 4

Monday was a fun day - we got up early again! After breakfast we all hopped in the car and headed down to see DeeDee. After spending some time at Juniper we all went to Benihana for lunch. Jack enjoyed hibachi chicken, steak & fried rice. And, of course, ice cream! I think he's considering becoming a hibachi chef!

After the hour ride home, Jack decided that a nap was not in his future. EXCELLENT! Joey to the rescue! Joey got home shortly after we did and invited Jack over for a play date. They rode the roller coaster, took a ride in the wagon & played in the sand table. All in all, a good time was had by all!

Uncle Bags took over for the night while Aunt T went to a meeting and from what I understand, the man had dinner, a bath & went right to sleep! Lambie was waiting patiently for him.Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-18043281491555585902009-08-23T16:19:00.000-07:002009-08-23T16:48:17.862-07:00The Jack ChroniclesDay 3, August 23, 2009

Today was a relatively quiet day. We got up around 7:30 (why won't the boy sleep later than that?) and had some very serious cuddle time on the couch. Jack, Uncle Bags, Cris & Aunt T all curled up on the couch for a while this morning while Emmie got some precious beauty sleep.

Then, around noon, Oma & Granddad came over for lunch and some hang time. Jack went down for a nap around 1:30 (Cris & Em put him down - as usual) and he slept until around 4:30.

After nap time, Cris was able to dig out a huge box filled with Thomas trains & tracks. All three kids spent about 2 hours playing with Thomas and his friends and built some excellent tracks.

This guy ate like a CHAMP - so did Emmie for that matter! Mashed potatoes, carrots (Jack had 3 helpings) & chicken cutlets (Emmie had 5 helpings of chicken! WTH?) Cris ate like the growing boy that he is!

I am about to clean the kitchen, but would like to mention that we worked with the boy on a couple of basics that are requisites in the Baguer household.

And then, of course, the inevitable (which, BTW, he picked up in no time at all!):

THE HOST WITH THE MOST: When Oma & Granddad came over and Jack hear their voices, he opened the front door before he could even see them and welcomed them into the house!

PROUDEST UNCLE BAGS MOMENT: Jack screaming "Go Irish" at the top of his lungs tonight!

ONLY VIOLENT ACT OF THE DAY: Literally crushing the Lincoln Logs can over Emmie's head. Now, you may think I'm exaggerating, but trust me, he nearly crushed it in half over her head. Now, the boy has to be learning this stuff somewhere, and what we'd like to know is, what the hell is going on in your house????

SWEETEST HOUR: Jack curled up with Uncle Bags, then Cushion (a.k.a. Cristian), and Aunt T this morning and giving us some serious lovin'.

Tomorrow, it's off to see his Great Grandmother & spend some QT with her. Looking forward to a nice day with Oma & DeeDee. Miss & love you!!! xoxoxoxo

ps - Jack said you better bring him home something good! :)Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-86210911868738597222009-08-22T19:02:00.000-07:002009-08-22T19:10:36.920-07:00The Jack ChroniclesDay 2, August 22, 2009

Unexpected Outburst - When Jack started singing (rather loudly) Shake Your Booty while Father Joe was saying the Homily in church tonight.

Unbelievable Behavior - Jack sitting through an hour long mass like an angle (except for singing Shake Your Booty), and reading his book. After recovering from a midnight calling from the man, we all went out in the POURING rain to IKEA to pick up some more pot hooks. Nothing like having to walk the entire store to get to the stupid pot hooks which were at the very end of the winding path. Whatever, we got some exercise.

Thanks to Aunt Gennie & Pink, Cris had a Best Buy gift card that was burning a hole in his pocket. So, where else would I want to be with 3 children & my husband on a Saturday afternoon, but Best Buy. While Cris tortured Bags over at the PSP game aisle, Jack & Emmie checked out the huge T.V.s that are available in the Magnolia department. They were quite at home and reluctant to leave.Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-71074991014326352822009-08-22T05:05:00.000-07:002009-08-22T18:59:24.094-07:00Saturday, August 22, 2009<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuq7xOjQZxnikn4dCWvKX2ny8iGIT5Ucmwss62NUHbJuJpCjOxQMaqQigMOI4t0QxILJp88JilIMpZ2bPrbwK1hJ0Bi7vMwbGDwgP-OTKb3FSocXJYlAe0lZD5mvFLhrSURh1YSx6Vo4k/s320/photo-1.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5372759743688891010" />
Okay, we love our nephew, but after getting up for no apparent reason at 1am, the little cherub decided to wake at 7:30 this morning. Jack particularly enjoyed the pernil, black beans, white rice. He finished his meal off with champagne grapes & a little rice pudding. He kept asking for "mo puddin".

So, since we are not going to be able to talk on the phone with Aunt Gennie & Pinkie unless it's an emergency, I thought we'd do a Jack Diary so that they could see what he's up to each day. What more could one ask for??? Bags & the boy worked on the model airplanes. Em & I gave each other manicures. We watched to movies, napped intermittently, and ate Fondue while enjoying the Honeymooners marathon (oh, and some Brady Bunch for good measure).

We are in the midst of enjoying the many faces of Baguer. After not shaving for nearly a week, Baguer did as I requested (big mistake) and went with a goatee. Not a good look for him. Let's see what look he goes with tomorrow. Currently, he's contemplating a handle bar mustache. This should be interesting.
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh43dvhiAFw-teZNmqPXxGTFFBKAuu7iKtJBhVGjMdS_AZ5lmfv9UhHZQWG405dX3h5Z6FuGeybycsw4c6Ii0qo9P30GOrpPEa9QptTX8xWSRRCJ6jUlCd4LQ9DBXG7WFqgpwgoue1PYIg/s320/IMG_3064.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286527794120398610" />Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-64232105419039028992008-12-30T19:00:00.000-08:002008-12-30T19:51:10.397-08:00IT'S THE FINAL COUNT DOWN<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTkaL83SyKIPfyxF1BcdZSZanm8siPMp4xoJaCacm738ujxjMGieU2Of2HWRlx9hboGF3IBIS7ZN-rx8ofdC4Xhglx8hZoxDBKtcD_RtvmdS8okPxMqd_R2X5C57q3ZHtNU4vDpQM0L00/s320/IMG_0255.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5285789859208696898" />
Only 25.5 hours left in 2008 and we are Upstate skiing. For the first time ever, the four Baguers came Upstate sans Oma & Granddad. Unfortunately, due to Oma's radiation regiment, they cannot come up until 12/31/08 and are leaving 1/1/09! I don't think they will be here for even 24 hours. As much as it stinks, we are all grateful that she is in great shape, kicking the crap out of her cancer and will be here for many more new years to come. We got up here late Friday night and sat around Saturday & Sunday and watched the temperature reach an unnecessary 60 degrees fahrenheit. Fear not, the temp finally dropped Sunday night and we went skiing Monday - and man did it blow! Can you say ICE, ICE BABY. Well, in the famous words of Levan, who is one of the most positive people we know, "I take every condition and use it as a training experience". Em did that for sure. That girl was scared out of her mind starting out and I have the knees to prove it. She perfected the snow plow for the first half of the day until I nearly beat her with my ski poles. After I cracked the whip shel looked like a pro and way better than me. Needless to say, I spent the better part of today sucking down pain killers on the couch. I WILL be skiing again tomorrow though. Cris was all but ready to quit snowboarding until Aunt Gennie told him to get over it and suck it up. I'm certain he'll be hitting the slopes with renewed enthusiasm tomorrow. Unfortunately the only ski pix we have are from last year. Baguer has his job assignment for tomorrow. Skiing pictures from tomorrow and new year's eve pictures to come. Stay tuned.......Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-32915451021549809422007-06-13T17:18:00.000-07:002007-06-13T19:47:15.816-07:00Locks of LOVE!!!!Today Emma did such a selfless, giving thing. She made a donation that she's been working on for more than 2 years! She donated her beautiful hair to Locks of Love. Their mission statement is to "return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss by utilizing donated ponytails to provide the highest quality hair prosthetics to financially disadvantaged children". Emma hopes she donated enough hair to make prosthetics for 2 children!

She has been truly taken by the act and hasn't stopped jumping around or smiling all afternoon! Enjoy our little slide show of the very very special event!!! check out the slide show at http://www.celebrity-radio.com/LocksofLOVE!!!.movHeidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-62970457102877503552007-06-11T08:22:00.000-07:002007-06-13T19:48:39.135-07:00Cris' birthday<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNqkVuPAEAGHeFS9RwkeQi3h9KZQDHuyf9IbvJT2Br2f7AwqCpVnOmj5rudZvdbnTrJ8feq44M4NJSfp9hZweEFSLATQ0cCGgTlJ4XOJauvX-vpUYYBNsRKfmAII2csiA9HzcABe7uSkI/s320/IMG_7049.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5074829876734293362" />
Wow - what a crazy birthday Cris had. Not only was it busy this year, but also a little stressful. On the 19th of May he and Em also tested for their Junior Black Belts. Thankfully, they both passed! Wow, only 8 more months until Black Belts!Heidihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01135366148753676946noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047748062559598461.post-39388909165348108692007-06-11T08:09:00.000-07:002007-06-13T19:49:16.036-07:00Emma's birthday on Lake Wawaka!<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuI7jR4zRlb82d3OiOx4c9TEhAVHCZb4f8sqt4hn_8ZK1vFa83_-GltNxks7RmN52_CKRhlr3dvC_vE8LpCKDUXcBF_VlN2yn809qE9VYXnH3vUK5dAijefpqyOM0an6Nqk8MQYLb326w/s400/IMG_7177.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5074825298299155778" />
Over Em's birthday weekend we went kayacking on Lake Wawaka at Susan's Pleasant Pheasant Farm.
