So, whilst my beautiful sister and her wonderful husband are "Francing It Up" for the next 10 days, they have decided to entrust their amazing Jack with my parents and us.
After a torturous trip home from JFK in the middle of a nasty rain storm, we all sat down to a delicious meal cooked by Cuban Eddie. Jack particularly enjoyed the pernil, black beans, white rice. He finished his meal off with champagne grapes & a little rice pudding. He kept asking for "mo puddin".
So, since we are not going to be able to talk on the phone with Aunt Gennie & Pinkie unless it's an emergency, I thought we'd do a Jack Diary so that they could see what he's up to each day. I know, I'm a dork.
THE JACK CHRONICLES
Day One, August 21, 2009
First Violent Act: Beamed his cousin Emmie in the head with his green nalgene water bottle (She cried - he hit her pretty hard).
Brilliant Answer for Aunt T: "Jack, guess what?" (unsolicited) "Chicken butt" I couldn't have asked for more!
Second Violent Act: Trying to tear Cris' right ear off his head.
First Wild Animal Sighting: "TIT TAT!!" he dropped down on the floor and crawled over to Lucia and gave her loves under the dining room table.
All in all, the first few hours went off without a hitch. All children enjoyed hanging together. So crazy excited for the next 10 days!!!!
